Who is Song Joong-ki?

Song Joong-ki is a South Korean actor and model. He rose to fame in the historical drama series Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010) and the variety show Running Man (2010-2011) as one of the original cast members. He has since starred in numerous films and television series, including the box office hits A Werewolf Boy (2012), The Innocent Man (2012), Descendants of the Sun (2016) and the films The Battleship Island (2017) and The Ticket (2019).

Born on September 19, 1985, in Dong District, South Korea, Song Joong-ki attended school in the city of Daejeon and later graduated with a degree in Film and Arts from Sungkyunkwan University. During his university years, Song Joong-ki was cast as the male lead in the historical drama series Sungkyunkwan Scandal. The series was a huge success and propelled Song Joong-ki to stardom.
