Where was Carrie Bickmore born?

Carrie Bickmore was born in 1980 in Adelaide, South Australia. She was born to a mother who was a nurse and a father who was a surveyor. She was raised in Perth, Western Australia, and studied journalism at Curtin University in Perth.

Bickmore started her television career in 2000 on the music video show Video Hits, where she stayed for five years. In 2005, she was a reporter for Rove Live and was a co-host of The 7PM Project, which aired on Network Ten from 2009 to 2011. She then moved to the Nine Network's panel show The Project, which she has hosted since 2009.

In 2015, Bickmore won the Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television, becoming the third woman in the awards' history to do so. She is also well-known for her work with the charity organisation, The Brain Foundation, which she founded in 2010 following the death of her husband from brain cancer.
