The movie adaptation of Delia Owens' best-selling novel Where The Crawdads Sing is currently in the works. American studio Fox 2000 has acquired the rights to the novel and will be producing the film. Academy Award-winning director, Peter Hedges, will be at the helm of the movie, while Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter, both of whom have produced a number of hit films, will be producing the film.
