When did Carrie Bickmore move to Western Australia?
Carrie Bickmore moved to Western Australia in 1994. She was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1980, and spent her childhood there. However, when she was 14 years old, she moved to Perth, the capital of Western Australia, with her family. She attended Presbyterian Ladies’ College in Perth, and then went on to study at Curtin University, also in Perth.
In the years that followed, Bickmore began to pursue a career in media. In addition to her career in media, Bickmore is an active supporter of cancer research, founding the Carrie Bickmore Foundation in 2015. The foundation works to raise awareness and funds for brain cancer research, and has raised over $2 million since it began.
