Carrie Bickmore's first television role was as a reporter on the Nine Network's travel program, Getaway. She was on the show from 2000-2005, covering a range of stories from around the world. She then went on to become the featured presenter of the Nine Network's video game show, Video Smash Hits. The show was on air from 2005-2007 and she interviewed the biggest names in the gaming industry. After this, she joined the Seven Network's Sunrise program as a fill-in presenter. This was her first foray into morning television and she soon became a permanent co-host on the show in 2008, a role she held for four years. Carrie Bickmore has since gone on to become one of Australia's most well-known and loved TV personalities.
