What other characters appear in the Addams Family stories?

The Addams Family stories feature a number of characters in addition to the main family members. Gomez Addams is the patriarch of the family, and is married to Morticia Addams. They have two children, Wednesday and Pugsley Addams. The family also includes Uncle Fester, Grandmama, and Lurch, the family butler.

In the later television series, the family is also joined by cousin Itt, a strange creature with an unknown origin. The Addams also have a pet, a large and hairy creature named Thing that lives in a box. Other recurring characters include the Addams’ lawyer, Tully Alford, and their nemesis, Abigail Craven.

The Addams Family stories also feature a variety of guest characters, such as the Addams’s old-fashioned relatives, the debonair Addams family from the old country, as well as a number of supernatural creatures and monsters, including vampires, werewolves, witches, and ghosts.
