How has Christina Ricci’s acting career developed since her role in The Addams Family?

Christina Ricci’s acting career has grown substantially since her role as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family. Since then, she has gone on to star in a variety of films and television shows in numerous genres. She has gone on to star in dramas such as The Opposite of Sex, Buffalo ‘66 and Prozac Nation, as well as comedies such as Scooby-Doo, Speed Racer and Sleepy Hollow. Ricci has also appeared in a number of independent films, including those of director Adam Rapp, such as Winter Passing and Black Snake Moan.

In recent years, Ricci has made a name for herself in television, appearing in series such as Ally McBeal, Grey’s Anatomy, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and the horror-drama series, Pan Am. Ricci also starred in the short-lived ABC comedy series, Don’t Trust the B— in Apartment 23, and the much acclaimed Amazon series, Z: The Beginning of Everything, for which she won a Saturn Award for Best Actress in 2017.
