How does Tess feel about the Infected in The Last of Us?

Tess is a survivor of the Cordyceps Brain Infection, which has turned most of the world’s population into mindless, flesh-eating monsters. Tess is fiercely protective of the survivors she has encountered and has a deep hatred for the Infected, often referring to them as “freaks” or “monsters.” She is willing to do anything to protect those she loves, even if it means putting her own life on the line. Tess never hesitates to eliminate the Infected, even if it means going into their territory, and she shows no mercy when doing so. Although Tess is aware that the Infected were once people, she sees them as a threat and does not have any sympathy for them. Tess is determined to survive and will do anything it takes to protect her friends and family and eliminate the Infected.
