How did Annie Wersching get her start in acting?

Annie Wersching began her career in acting while studying at the University of Missouri. She began by performing in theater productions and commercials, and eventually decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television. Wersching's first big break came in 2004 when she was cast in the role of FBI Special Agent Renee Walker on the Fox show 24, for which she received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. After 24 wrapped up, Wersching had a number of roles on television and in films, such as in the science fiction series Revolution and the romance-drama The Vow. She also appeared in the popular series Castle, and had a recurring role on the show Bosch.
